Looks like Hollywood isn’t ready to let [lastfm link_type=""]Chris Brown[/lastfm] off the hook just yet!
C-Breezy’s 3 performances at the Grammy‘s stirred up MAD DRAMA! Critics immediately came out saying that the amount of attention given to him was a negative message. They argued that just because people deserve a second chance ”…doesn’t mean they deserve a chance to strut around the Grammy stage a few years after being convicted of felony assault.”
Other celebs seemed to feel the same way about the situation! [lastfm link_type=""]Michelle Branch[/lastfm] tweeted “Trying not to go off on a rant but … Chris Brown … (bites tongue) have we forgiven him?” And Sherri Sheperd from The View tweeted “Looks like all is forgiven (with) Chris Brown. That’s all I’ll say.”
The website Buzfeed.com put together 25 tweets from Brown fans saying things like “I’d let [lastfm link_type=""]Chris Brown[/lastfm] beat me anyway #womanbeater.”
To Chris’s defense came Neil Portnow, president of The Recording Academy, said the Grammy’s program the show, based on voting.
“That’s really where the judgment comes from: music professionals listening to the music of other professionals. Clearly, our voting membership rated highly Chris’ musical work this past year.” he said.
Even Breezy’s ex girlfriend, [lastfm link_type=""]Rihanna[/lastfm], had nothing bad to say about the ordeal. In fact, she did the opposite by saying that she was happy to see him ballin’ again!
