Taylor Swift is apologizing to Nicki Minaj after yesterday’s controversy over VMA nominations.
She Tweeted:
It’s admirable of Taylor to apologize for supposedly starting all the drama, but is everyone being a little harsh? I personally believe it was a misunderstanding and not an attack on females the way her words have been twisted by Katy Perry and Nicki.
yesterday she responded to Nicki Minaj’s tweets regarding a VMA nomination snub:
Taylor replied:
@nickiminaj I’ve done nothing but love and support you. Its unlike you to pit two woman against each other. Maybe one of the men took your spot
However Taylor later deleted this tweet but Nicki replied
T- Swift replied that Nicki could join her on stage if she wins but then deleted that also
Katy Perry then joined the twitter feud:
Hopefully they can all reconcile and let it go. If the goal in the end is to respect each other as women and avoid pitting women against each other, I think so far they’ve all clearly missed the point.
