Story time with #LatinaGirl Carmen!
I overheard this baby daddy conversation (at Panera) The guy was with this girl, she gets pregnant, they raise the baby as a couple and live together for four years. His mom even told him in the start she had a feeling the baby wasn’t his, but he was sure it was.
Eventually, their relationship starts falling apart and the guy decides to sepatare and get Child Support himself, but that’s when he found out the baby wasn’t actually his (in my Maury voice) YOU ARE NOT THE FATHER!
So that’s when I lean over and decide to give him my advice cause I had to give him my hood tips.
“I don’t mean to be in your conversation, but you’re talking pretty loud so I have to give you my hood tips: Blessings you will get. I say, continue to be in this child’s life as a father figure even though it is not your child, that’s priceless. All this child knows is you, your face. You don’t have to financially help so much, but here and here. and think of the emotional roller coaster this child will go through.
Think of what it will feel like if you never have a child of your own. It will be a major blessing to the kid if you help him out.”
Hood advice: A REAL MAN will stick around and do it for the kid. Especially since the real dad is not in the picture. Don’t be a dirtbag #Idontlikedeadbeatdads.
